It was a cold blustery morning on Saturday, January 13, but that didn’t stop 41 women from coming together in Fellowship Hall for a women’s workshop gathering led by Kelly Knapp on Transforming Grace. We started with a delicious breakfast of 2 different quiches, biscuits, hot coffee and fellowship. We focused on 2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” The Holy Spirit was evident, relationships grew and Kelly’s teaching was invaluable.
We discussed 3 areas of our lives:
From performance – to peace.
From pride – to humility.
From control – to trust.
The morning wrapped up by praying “Lord, change me – don’t leave me where I am…Change me. I want Christ to be formed in me, to the praise of your glory!” Amen
We hope to have another workshop this spring and look forward to seeing you there when the flowers are blooming.
