Blood Drive in honor of Liara Gumkowski

Fall Cleanup Day

Come help with some indoor and outdoor projects.

Some projects include cleaning kitchens, putting flower beds to sleep, fixing steps, dusting, cleaning the Sanctuary, chatting. No registration necessary.

Over 70’s Friendsgiving luncheon

Our speaker will be Bernadette Fischer, one of our missionaries, who serves with P.R.I.S.M.- a group that shares the Gospel to international students and their families in hopes that they will begin a personal relationship with Jesus.

Join us on Sunday, December 1st at 4pm in the Barclay for a special Advent Worship Service. Advent is a time of coming towards hope, peace, love and joy as we eagerly celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus and we await His triumphant return. We will aim to take a posture of hopeful expectancy. That this would be more than just another trip through the holidays.

This event is sponsored by the Connections Team and is designed for you to reach out and invite your friends and neighbors. The format will be casual, we will arrange the room uniquely, and there will be light refreshments and coffee.

Journey alongside Mary and Joseph, a flock of surprised shepherds, and three wisemen—along with their camels! Experience this cherished holiday production, filmed in front of a live audience at Sight & Sound Theatres.

Join us for a viewing of “Miracle of Christmas” in Fellowship Hall.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

  • trip cost : $500  deposit: $100

Some of our local projects include:

Engage and interact with individuals with disabilities. Participants will be doing many different activities that include: socializing, playing games and helping with projects.

Brighten the day for senior citizens at several assisted living and memory care centers–help with games, crafts, exercise and gardening.

Assisting in food distribution; “shop” with clients, pack groceries, stock shelves and help out in the warehouse.

Assist Summer Day Camp Counselors with activities and events for kids ages 5–15 at one of three different locations.
