Over the course of the last 6 months the Connections Team has been working very hard to retool and refine their purpose as a team and what they are to be about doing.
The primary role of the Connections Team is to promote and encourage points of connection as it relates to our 3 primary areas of church life—Worship, Study and Service.
This will be accomplished by utilizing a simple and effective Discipleship Pathway (more on that
below).
A secondary role of the Connections Team is to help the members and friends of Hebron Church
engage in deep and meaningful ways as it pertains to each ones discipleship and development.
In the coming months, you will see these efforts materialize in different forms.
SERVING OPPORTUNITIES BOOKLET
The first is the “Serving Opportunities” booklet. This is a summary of the many ways that
people can plug in at Hebron and help our church family flourish. Everyone needs to find a place to plug in and serve and this booklet is a great resource for getting that started.
NEXT STEPS at CONNECT CENTER
You will be continually invited to take a next step. We should always be looking to be take another step closer to Jesus in our 3 areas of Church life.
We will also be launching a physical kiosk space called the CONNECT CENTER. This will be run by knowledgeable and trained church members who want to see people connect and grow.
This will also be the place to get information, get plugged in and start the process of taking a next step. If you are new to Hebron, come find out more about our church family and what is available to you. This will also be the place to sign up for different events and programs as they become
available. We are really excited to be bringing this soon!
DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAY
In an effort to help facilitate growth and depth of relationship of Hebron members and friends with God and each other, the Connections Team will help roll out a simple and effective path of
discipleship. This will be detailed at length in the coming weeks and months and will be available at the Connect Center when it launches.
