Two years ago, around this time, I Jess Cline, was pregnant and had two little boys that were climbing the walls. I went on a walk and met Meredith DeWalt on the street. As our kids played together, we began to chat, and she invited me to come check out All Moms.
I started attending All Moms at Hebron and was struck by the welcoming atmosphere that seemed to say: “Come as you are. Even if you have spit up on your shoulder. We’ve been there too”. I was introduced to a whole community of women in the same stage of life as me, and it was wonderful. They are right there with you, going through the same potty training struggles or newborn sleepless nights. All Moms is a community of women who will cry with you, rejoice with you and pray with you. I fell in love with this community of women and the mission of All Moms which also led my family to getting involved at Hebron.
I’ve been humbled by how evident God’s hand is at work in this community and in my journey with them. Now, I’ve been blessed further with the opportunity to fill in for Jill Morrow as Interim Director while she is out on maternity leave. I get the chance to give back to God and this community in a way that I never would have thought I could before coming to All Moms.
I’m excited that we will be kicking off the Winter/Spring 2024 semester soon! We will be continuing our usual bi-monthly meetings, but we will also have several Coffee Chat events with our Mentor Mom, Kelly Knapp, as well as some playdates for you and your kids held at church.
