Women's Ministry - Anchored and Reaching Out

Our mission in Women’s Ministry is to invite women into a relationship with Jesus Christ, equip them to become disciples of Jesus Christ, and to encourage relationships marked by love and serving others.
“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another- and all the more as we see the day approaching.”
Hebrews 10: 24-25
Women were uniquely created to be in relationship to support and encourage one another. At Hebron, Women’s Ministry provides opportunities for women to come together to grow in community and spirit alongside one another at quarterly large group events, groves, or smaller groups as needed to worship, learn, and share their lives with one another- we would love if you would consider participating! Each woman’s has the potential to be used by God when she makes herself available. Let’s be the church together!

CDI Christian Discipleship Institute

As part of our ongoing responsibility to equip believers, Hebron’s Adult Discipleship Team (ADT)  operates a training program called “The Christian Discipleship Institute” (CDI). The purpose of CDI is to teach believers the biblical and theological background necessary for discipleship, ministry and Christian leadership, and how to put that knowledge into practice. This training program involves a long-term commitment of time, energy, and finances, and will strengthen lay leadership in various ministry areas.

Each CDI group will consist of between eight to ten people who will learn and work together for an extended period of time, sharpening their ability to reach our community with the love of God.

Participants in the CDI will be exposed to a mixture of educational and practical ministry challenges. The core of the program involves completing ten six-week courses. The course work focuses on biblical study and application, Christian discipleship, basic theology, and developing ministry skills, and will be taught by qualified clergy and educators.

AllMoms

All Moms is a ministry that merges a community of moms in the trenches of raising young children and mentorship from experienced women who desire to see younger moms grow in their faith and skills as parents. All Moms is for, you guessed it, all Moms: stepmoms, adoptive moms, working moms, stay-at-home moms, single moms, foster moms, and moms of all backgrounds. Twice a month we will gather in the evenings, hear a guest speaker share prepared insights on a topic related to mothering small children, and share in a small group setting our personal reflections and thoughts on a topic.

Due to the nature of needing to plan spaces and materials, we are requiring registration ahead of time. There is no homework, no reading requirements and no reading requirements and no judgment when you roll in with the same messy bun from two days ago and some kind of dried food permanently adhered to your yoga pants.

Visit the All Moms‘ website for more information and upcoming events.
